Before joining, she already had experience as a barista. However, she chose Kopi Cinta because she was interested in its concept— not just about coffee, but also about service quality and meaningful connection.

As a Deaf person, Nanda’s biggest challenge is communication.
She tries to overcome it in different ways—through writing, lip-reading, and making sure instructions are clearly understood.
For her, communication will always work when both sides are willing to try.

Through her experience, Nanda hopes hearing people can be more open when communicating with Deaf individuals.
Writing can be very helpful, and it is a simple way to understand each other better.
Because for her, connection is not always about sound— but about the effort to understand.
